Looking back at Week 17
If you played a lot of high-owned, chalk players this week, you did great! Ironically, since there were so many chalk players that hit, it made cash games even harder, and I missed the line thanks to just being on the bad side of some plays at wide receiver. I more than made up for it in GPPs, however, thanks to some really good lineups and contest selection.

As I mentioned in the preview column, I played 60 (!) lineups, putting 20 each into the full slate, early slate and late slate. Generally speaking, I got the morning slate right and didn't do nearly as well during the afternoon slate. However, my best lineup came through in the full slate.

I ran this one as a skinny stack with no runback, which is not something I usually do. Of course, the one week I've done this, the runback I would have played goes absolutely off for 41 points at $100 more than the guy I would have replaced him with that scored 8.9 points. I'm not bitter about missing out on what would have been a massive finish (top 30 in my contest), why do you ask? The rest of this lineup absolutely smashed.

I understand how and why I got to this build, but at the same time, I'm also not sure how and why I got to this build. I didn't play much Robby Anderson, but he was basically the last person in sans the defense. I don't know why I prioritized DK Metcalf, although I did have plenty of him in the afternoon slate I got massively wrong. And I played a ton more Sterling Shepard, whom I thought was in a much better spot, than Evan Engram. It's a bit baffling. This looks like a GPP lineup to me.
