Every week, I put together a Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet for my subscribers that recommends players to consider adding either by spending waiver priority or blind bidding dollars, or simply waiting until waivers clear and scooping them up for free.
The following players are rostered in less than 50%—or near 50%—of Yahoo leagues. They are on this list because their recent usage—or injuries ahead of them—suggest they'll be fantasy relevant moving forward.
Obviously, keep your own league settings, rosters and needs in mind when choosing who to prioritize and whether or not you should spend priority on them, but these are common free agents that can provide a spark in week 8 or simply add depth to your roster.
TE Trey McBride (20%)
The TE 1 role in Arizona has been fantasy viable all season, and with Zach Ertz going on IR, Trey McBride picked up right where Ertz left off.
The 2022 2nd round pick from Colorado State garnered an absurd 14(!) targets, catching 10 of them for 95 yards and 1 TD (25.5 PPR points).
He's every bit worth a priority add at fantasy's weakest position and has some good matchups coming up after Cleveland (Atlanta, Houston, Rams), not to mention the potential return of Kyler Murray.
RB Darrell Henderson (45%)
Darrell Henderson handled another 15 touches in week 8, bringing his total to 34 after the last 2 games.
He gets a terrific week 9 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, a defense that entered week 9 allowing the MOST touches, 4th most catches, 6th most rushing yards, 7th most receiving yards, 3rd most scrimmage yards, 12th most TDs and 3rd most PPR points per game to enemy RBs.
If you need an RB in week 9, Henderson could be a nice plug-and-play option.
