2026 Buffalo Bills Mock Draft: Will Buffalo finally have an answer at WR?

The 2025 NFL season has come to a close, leaving us ready to start the NFL draft process.
Despite bringing in so many guys to help Josh Allen on the outside, not a single Bills wide receiver has proven to be the long-term answer yet. Khalil Shakir is obviously #good, but he's playing pretty exclusively in the slot, to the point he's not even playing a full compliment of snaps when they run two tight ends. Finding an answer here will be paramount, whether that's in free agency (again) or, most likely, in the draft.
Additionally, teams ran all over the Bills last season. Finding talent in the front seven to close that gap will be a priority in the early rounds.
Getting the first few of their seven picks right could be the difference between finally getting over the playoff hump or another postseason disappointment.
In this mock draft, we take a look at a full seven round Buffalo Bills mock draft based on their current pick selections, with no trades and no information on how free agency shakes out.
Let's get to it!
Buffalo Bills Mock Draft Picks
Round 1, Pick 26: Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Round 2, Pick 60: Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia
Round 3, Pick 91: Keylan Rutledge, OG, Georgia Tech
Round 4, Pick 126: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri
Round 5, Pick 166: Sam Roush, TE, Stanford
Round 7, Pick 220: De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss
Round 7, Pick 228: Devan Boykin, S, Indiana
Draft Analysis
Well, teams are probably going to still run on the Bills in 2026 unless a move is made in free agency. Akheem Mesidor is a good, but not great, run defender, but should provide overall playmaking ability to the defensive line. And fourth round pick Josiah Trotter - to answer your question, yes - can help downhill from the second level.
But all eyes will be on second round pick Zacharian Branch to see if he can be a playmaker. He's probably not the ideal receiver the Bills need - they could've used a bigger body WR, which they get close to later with De'Zhaun Stribling - but the skill set to take one to the house will be there.
Fantasy Impacts
On projected playing time and skill set, Zachariah Branch is an interesting mid-to-late round pick that will feel boom-or-bust for redraft leagues; much better of a player in best ball, where he's currently going right around pick 200 currently. He might be more valuable than that if he lands here.
