2026 Green Bay Packers Mock Draft: With no first rounder, we try to find the right depth pieces

The 2025 NFL season has come to a close, leaving us ready to start the NFL draft process.
The Green Bay Packers started as the early-season favorites to win the NFC North and were somewhat trendy Super Bowl picks as well. This, of course, came on the heels of them trading for Micah Parsons, while already having a solid-if-not-spectacular offense ready to go on the opposite side of the ball. That all fell apart defensively when Parsons got injured, and, to be frank, the offense did not perform as well as it should, playing down to competition at many points last season while dealing with various injuries.
All that said, there are still holes that this team needs to fill, including in the secondary as well as both sides of the line, and with limited draft capital, it might be tough - but I have faith they'll try to do just that.
For this Green Bay Packers mock draft, we are restricting ourselves from trading and we don't have any details on how free agency will shake out.

Draft Analysis
Corner might be the number one need this team has, so having D'Angelo Ponds available at pick 52 feels like a dream scenario. He's obviously quite small, listed at 5'9" and 170 pounds, which could cause him to slip more than his production otherwise shows, but he could match up perfectly well against some of the best receivers in the NFC North (Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Luther Burden are all listed at an even 6'0").
After that, it's a slew of important but unsexy picks on both sides of the line to add depth, plus my favorite pick of the draft here in Ty(ren) Montgomery. I hope he wears the same number as Ty did.
Fantasy Impacts
There are no direct fantasy impacts here outside of IDP leagues. Notably, Romeo Doubs is a free agent and not expected to be back with the team as of this writing, which leaves an open window for last year's first round pick, Matthew Golden, to rebound from the high expectations that were set on him in his rookie season.
