2026 Jacksonville Jaguars Mock Draft: Plugging Some Holes on a Contending Team

Team-by-Team NFL Mock Drafts + Fantasy Impacts

The 2025 NFL season has come to a close, leaving us ready to start the NFL draft process.

We didn't really get to see the Travis Hunter experiment in full force last season after he got hurt, and it's looking more likely that we won't see it in full force in 2026 either after the emergence of Parker Washington and the list of pending free agents at corner for the Jaguars. The coaching staff has all but confirmed that Travis Hunter will take the "majority" of reps at CB in 2026. Christian Kirk is also a free agent, so it's possible that whatever happens this offseason changes the initial plan, but we're going to be under the assumption that the Jaguars will be going with this plan.

Long preamble aside, neither of those positions are likely the Jaguars' biggest need, which, to me, is the interior of the defense. Another talented DT is probably tops on their board, and with the pending free agents in the LB core, getting at least someone there will be crucial.

For this Jacksonville Jaguars mock draft, we are restricting ourselves from trading and we don't have any details on how free agency will shake out.

Let's get to it.

Jacksonville Jaguars Mock Draft Picks

  • Round 2, Pick 56: Keionte Scott, CB, Miami (FL)

  • Round 3, Pick 81: Domonique Orange, DT, Iowa State

  • Round 3, Pick 88: Joshua Josephs, EDGE, Tennessee

  • Round 3, Pick 100: Isaiah World, OT, Oregon

  • Round 4, Pick 117: Jack Endries, TE, Texas

  • Round 5, Pick 162: Aaron Anderson, WR, LSU

  • Round 5, Pick 164: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

  • Round 6, Pick 195: Fernando Carmona Jr., OG, Arkansas

  • Round 7, Pick 234: Tyler Onyedim, DT, Texas A&M

  • Round 7, Pick 246: Jamarion Miller, RB, Alabama

Draft Analysis

...and despite me saying that interior defense is probably the main priority, we start off with a CB to play alongside Hunter.

The board simply doesn't fall the way we want it to here; we had our eye on Christen Miller, who went a few picks ahead of us to the Detroit Lions. We did have some options at LB, but we end up taking the best player on the board at a position of lesser need in Keionte Scott, with the capability of starting right away in Anthony Campanile's defensive scheme.

We follow it up by plugging the hole in the middle with Domonique Orange, a big-bodied playmaker, and add some pass-rushing versatility after it with Joshua Josephs.

Receiver doesn't come in until Round 5, with Aaron Anderson being the selection as a lightning-fast, undersized slot. The Jaguars will look for him to play a Rashid Shaheed-type role, taking the top off the defense for Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington and Brenton Strange.

Prior to that, though, the Jaguars take a luxury pick in Jack Endries, who should immediately slot in as the TE2 behind the aforementioned Strange. This opens up possibilities of running 12 personnel with play action, as both TEs have playmaking ability as receivers in their arsenal.

Fantasy Impacts

Aaron Anderson feels like a better-in-best-ball pick as a super late dart throw as the WR3/WR4 in this offense who will either boom or completely dud. He's undraftable elsewhere.

Jack Endries makes for an interesting dynasty pick. He could easily be the Dawson Knox to Strange's Dalton Kincaid in this offense for 2026, but Brenton Strange becomes a free agent in 2027 after his rookie deal expires, and if the team likes what they see from Endries, they may elect to promote him to TE1 in 2027 and beyond.
