Here are our top week 8 waiver wire adds to take your fantasy football team to the next level.
Week 8 Waiver Wire Adds: Spend Your Priority
As a general rule of thumb, if a player will be in your starting lineup, then they're worth spending priority on (doesn't really apply to QB, TE, K or DEF). Here are some guys that will likely be in a lot of starting lineups this week. 👇
🟢 RB Jonah Coleman - handled 50% of the Broncos' backfield touches in week 7, compared to just 27.3% for JK Dobbins and 22.7% for RJ Harvey. After the game, he received high praise from Sean Payton, and appears poised to be a major factor in Denver's offense moving forward.
🟢 WR KC Concepcion (available in 40% of leagues) - Saw 28.6% of the targets in week 7, catching 8 of 10 for 152 scoreless scrimmage yards and 23.2 PPR points. Has a really nice schedule down the stretch.
🟢 P.S.: RB Jordan Mason is somehow available in 26% of fantasy football leagues. If that's the case in yours, change that immediately.
Potential adds after waivers run (don't spend priority)
🟡 RB Rico Dowdle (available in 35% of leagues) - Handled 15 touches — including 6 targets/catches — for 86 scoreless yards and 14.6 PPR points in week 7.
🟡 WR Omar Cooper Jr. - Now has 12 targets, 11 catches, 218 yards, 2 TDs and 44.8 PPR points over the last 2 games alone. Mediocre matchup vs the Raiders in week 8.
🟡 WR Jordyn Tyson - Nearing his return yet available in 51% of fantasy football leagues. Way too much upside to be that available.
🟡 WR Tre Tucker - Saw 27.9% of the targets in week 7, catching 5 of 12 for 103 yards, 1 TD and 21.3 PPR points in pass-heavy game script against the Rams. He now has 7+ targets in 4 of the last 6 games, and 21+ PPR points in each of the last 2.
🟡 WR Antonio Williams - Terry McLaurin is out for the season. In week 6, Antonio Williams played 67% of the snaps and attracted 11.4% of the targets. Treylon Burks (55% snaps, 17.1% targets) is hot on his tail, but Williams will be in the mix as a top 2 or 3 option for Jayden Daniels moving forward.
🟡 WR Treylon Burks - As mentioned directly above, Treylon Burks played slightly fewer snaps than Antonio Williams, but attracted more of the targets, catching 4 of 6 for 66 scoreless yards (10.6 PPR points). He'll be in the mix moving forward.
🟡 TE Chig Okonkwo - Chig saw 26.1% of the Commanders' targets in week 5, then 20% of the targets when Terry McLaurin went down in week 6. He'll be a top 2 or 3 option for Jayden Daniels with McLaurin out for the rest of the year.
🟡 TE Brenton Strange - Somehow available in 53% of fantasy football leagues. He's averaging 11.5 PPR points and 7 targets per game over his last 4 games, and has a nice matchup with the Colts coming up in week 8.
🟡 WR Makai Lemon - Philly's 1st round pick had the best game of his career in week 7, catching 7 of 8 targets (24.2% target share) for 67 yards, 1 TD and 19.7 PPR points. He's a good bet to get more playing time as the season goes on.
🟡 TE Hunter Henry - Over his last 4 games, Hunter Henry is averaging 5.3 targets, 4.8 catches, 56.3 yards, 0.5 TDs (2 total) and 13.4 PPR points per game, scoring 11-15 PPR points in each of the last 4. Elite matchup vs the Dolphins in week 8.
🟡 WR Courtland Sutton (available in 42% of leagues) - Jaylen Waddle re-aggravated his chest injury in week 7 and is in danger of missing week 8. If that happens, Courtland Sutton will serve as the Broncos' WR 1, albeit in a very difficult matchup with the Chiefs. Deep leaguers can instead search from Troy Franklin (projected WR 2) or Marvin Mims (WR 3).
🟡 WR Ja'Kobi Lane - Played a very nice 69% of the Ravens' snaps and saw more targets (5) than Rashod Bateman (4) in week 7. Lane is ascending at the right time with Lamar Jackson set to return soon.
🟡 WR Caleb Douglas - His target share is nothing special (25.9% was nice in week 1, but it was just 13% in week 2 and 14.3% in week 7), but the dude makes plays, racking up 70+ yards in 2 of 3 games played, not to mention 2 tuddies just a few days ago. Mediocre matchup with the Patriots in week 8.
🟡 RB Bam Knight - Jeremiyah Love appears poised to return in week 8. If that happens, you can ignore this entry. But if it doesn't, Knight will be on the RB 3/flex radar in a nice week 8 matchup with the Cowboys. Knight's handled roughly 47% of the backfield touches over the last 2 games without Love, racking up 5 catches, 161 scrimmage yards, and 21+ PPR points in the process.
🟡 TE Mason Taylor - He's attracted 20.7% of the targets in each of the last 2 games, compared to just 10.3% for standout rookie Kenyon Sadiq. In week 7, Taylor's target share resulted in 5 catches on 6 targets for 62 yards, 2 TDs, and 23.2 PPR points. Whether we like it or not, Mason Taylor — NOT Kenyon Sadiq — is the Jets' pass-catching TE right now, and he has a terrific string of matchups vs the Raiders, Chiefs and Bills coming up.
🟡 WR Kendrick Bourne - 6 targets in week 7. Has a nice matchup with the Cowboys in week 8, another game that could turn pass-heavy. Jalen Brooks is done for the year.
🟡 RB Dameon Pierce (or Elijah Mitchell?) - Saquon Barkley returned in week 7... only to deal with a brand new back injury in the 2nd half. Barkley didn't sound concerned that the injury would cost him any time, but if it did, Dameon Pierce could be in line for another strong week 8 workload. That said, Pierce himself was knocked out of the game with 6 minutes left. In the unlikely even Barkley and Pierce miss week 8, the next man up would be Elijah Mitchell. Pretty soon it'll be my turn to play RB for the Eagles.
🟡 TE Greg Dulcich - Saw 23.8% of the Dolphins' targets in week 7, catching 5 of 5 for 86 scoreless yards and 13.6 PPR points. He's seen 19% or more of the team targets in 3 of the last 4 games, scoring 10+ PPR points in 2 of the last 4.
🟡 TE Colby Parkinson - Saw 20.7% of the Rams' targets in week 7, catching 5 of 6 for 48 scoreless yards and 9.8 PPR points. He's seen 18% or more of the team targets in each of the last 2 games.
🟡 RB Seth McGowan - Handled a season-high 37.5% of the backfield touches, toting the rock 12 times for 48 scoreless yards in a game where Daniel Jones threw a season-low — by far — 22 passes. McGowan is the only non-Jonathan-Taylor RB to handle a single touch for the Colts this year and remains a premier bench stash. Not to mention the instant playability if Taylor were to get traded.
🟡 WR Cooper Kupp - Rashid Shaheed was ruled out of week 7 with a knee injury that could cost him some time. It's not much, but this opens up a little opportunity for Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton to find a few extra targets in their weekly shopping cart.
🟡 WR Elic Ayomanor - Played more offensive snaps (56) than Wan'Dale Robinson (38) and caught 3 of 7 targets for 44 scoreless yards (7.4 PPR points) in week 7. Likely pass-heavy game script against the Bengals in week 8.
🟠 RB Devin Singletary - Tyrone Tracy and Cam Skattebo both injured their hamstring in week 7. Tracy injured his earlier than Skattebo and never returned, indicating he may miss some time even when the Giants come out of their week 8 bye. At worst, Devin Singletary would be the Giants' RB 2 if that happens, and if Skattebo himself were to miss time, suddenly Singletary is the de facto RB 1. The G Men are on bye this week which won't help you now, but Singletary is a solid stash if you have the space and patience to hang on to him.
🟠 RB Kaelon Black - Christian McCaffrey sustained a thigh injury in week 7. Leading to Black's highest backfield touch share (41.9%) since week 1. CMC was able to return to the game and now has a bye week to rest up, so he'll likely be good to go when the 49ers return to action in week 9. Still, this was a great reminder that Black is one of the elite bench stashes in 2026 fantasy football.
🟠 RB Kenneth Gainwell - Don't get too carried away with Gainwell's 14 touches in week 7. It happened in a 43-13 blowout win where backups killed the clock.
