The Colts are entering week 3 with a decent implied point total of 23.5 points — the 13th most among all 32 teams playing football this week — suggesting a slightly above-average amount of scoring opportunities and fantasy football fireworks. This is an offense you want exposure to in your week 3 lineups.

The Raiders are entering week 3 with an implied point total of just 20.5 points — tied for the 9th fewest among all 32 teams playing football this week — suggesting scoring opportunities and fantasy football fireworks will be limited. They're not an offense you need to *avoid* in week 3, but they're also a solid target to attack with the Commanders' defense. The 3.5 point spread is narrow enough to suggest a mostly balanced offensive approach, albeit one that could turn pass-heavy if the Raiders fall behind the Commanders early.

Daniel Jones: Bottom Line

High end QB 2 (fringe QB1). Floor of 12–14 fantasy points (Titans are allowing the 4th-fewest QB points and 5th-fewest QB rush yards; regression from 3 early rushing TDs; ~28–34 attempts, 0–1 TD). Ceiling of 22–26 fantasy points (23.5 implied total + hot start keep 2–3 total touchdowns in play; ~30–36 attempts with efficient passing and a short rushing touchdown).

Geno Smith: Bottom Line

Mid range QB 2. Floor of 10–13 fantasy points (low 20.5 team total, Commanders suppress pass TDs; ~32–40 attempts for ~220–250 yards, 0–1 TD with turnover risk). Ceiling of 19–23 fantasy points (game tilts pass-heavy → ~40–45 attempts, 270–320 yards and 2 TDs).

Should I start Daniel Jones or Geno Smith?

Daniel Jones is the clear pick for me here. He's had an electric start (over 26 FPPG) for a guy who entered this season averaging 15.9 fantasy points per game over 66 career contests where he threw 20+ pass attempts. He'll likely crash back to earth at some point but, for now, he's a borderline QB 1.
