Five Players I Couldn't Stop Drafting In 2026

When you draft over 150 teams in a fantasy football season, you're bound to have your favorite players you keep drafting over and over again. They stare you down when you're on the clock, just waiting for you to pick them on yet another team. Sometimes, you may even get sick of seeing their names.

But for me, continuing to draft my favorites is par for the course. If I think I'm right on a player, I want to be really right on them when it goes the way I think it will. And that's how you end up with players on nearly a quarter - or more - of your teams.

Here are my five players I couldn't stop drafting in 2026.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Washington Commanders (28%)

The easiest click of them all.

Stefon Diggs was unsigned for a large portion of the offseason, not signing with Washington until early August. During that entire time, his ADP was sitting in the double-digit rounds, sitting in the 11th round on the day he signed as part of him slowly creeping up from the 14th & 15th round he sat in earlier.

I have him on 44 different teams. 36 of them were from before he signed.

Stefon Diggs currently has an ADP in the 8th round, meaning a majority of my teams have a player on it who the market believes should've been drafted multiple rounds earlier.

Braelon Allen, RB, New York Jets (26%)

The thesis with my earliest Braelon Allen teams was simple: This team isn't good, Breece Hall could be traded this offseason, and if that happens, then Braelon Allen becomes a starting running back. That obviously didn't pan out, but he's still going to be the clear handcuff on a rebuilding Jets team that gave Breece Hall an extension, all but removing any trade possibility.

Or does it?

There's still nothing stopping the Jets from moving on from Breece if they are looking to get additional draft capital in a very strong QB class, especially if they're out of contention. That likelihood is certainly lower now, but it's still non-zero.

Regardless, Braelon Allen is a handcuff play who's shown he can hold is own in the past. Could be worse players to draft in the later rounds.

Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons (25%)

People are down on Drake London relative to his previous fantasy output because of the QB situation in Atlanta.

Nothing has changed here. Is Kirk Cousins really any better than Tua Tagovailoa? I'd certainly say no. And Michael Penix Jr. is still Michael Penix Jr.; you actually hope he can take a developmental step forward when he's healthy this year.

Drake London finished 7th in PPR points per game last season and is being drafted outside of the top 10 at the position.

Drake London is QB proof and people are drafting him like he's not. That's a mistake I'm willing to capitalize on.

Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers (24%)

We already hashed this one out, so no surprise he's on the list. Basement Brewed Sports subscribers, myself included, should be all over this guy, especially in full PPR formats.

Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (24%)

This is the one that concerns me the most. Rashee Rice has been dealing with injuries and off-the-field situations the entire offseason, has a QB coming back from a major injury himself, and quite frankly, his skill set feels a bit like (my boy!) Michael Thomas, heavily inflated by the target volume that could, quite frankly, go away at any point if the team wanted to change philosophies.

Obviously, all of this has lowered his ADP into the third round of most drafts, if not lower during portions of the offseason, and then you get into a risk/reward scenario where you need to make a call. And you can see that I took the gamble on last year's WR5 in PPR points per game going even later than Drake London was above.

Could it all go wrong? Sure. But the upside is literally a top five player at the position when he's going outside the top 15.

Secret Honorable Mention: The Entire Ravens Passing Offense

I wrote about this one, but I've been all over this Ravens passing offense since March. My final numbers on this team...

• Lamar Jackson: 13%

• Justice Hill: 23%, just missing the above cutoff

• Zay Flowers: 19%

• Rashod Bateman: 19%

• Ja'Kobi Lane: 10%, almost all of it before the training camp hype gave him a meteoric ADP rise

• Elijah Sarratt: 17%

• Mark Andrews: 13%
