Last week was entirely upside down for everyone, right? Because it felt like everything was random and not at all expected for me. Naturally, that means I didn't do well myself, so we're hoping for a nice rebound this week.

Here are my week 12 DraftKings DFS picks & fades that I'm considering for my lineups.

Week 12 DraftKings DFS Stack of the Week

Kansas City Chiefs: QB Patrick Mahomes ($6,800) + WR Rashee Rice ($7,700) + TE Travis Kelce ($5,000). Total stack cost: $19,500

The Chiefs stack is expensive, which might make lineup-building more prohibitive. But do you know what's not prohibitive? This matchup and game environment. I expect this to be one of the best games on the slate, and the Chiefs are going to heavily lean on the passing game to move down the field against an average Colts defense. Give me the two guys who stand to generate the volume and move on.

Week 12 DraftKings DFS Picks

RB TreyVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots ($6,700)

It looks like Rhamondre Stevenson may be back for this game, but I simply do not care, and neither should the Patriots. Regardless, his explosiveness should be on full display against the basically-invisible Bengals defense, and given the loss of Ja'Marr Chase for this game, it's most likely that the Patriots will be able to lean on their run game enough to control the tempo as they see fit. TreyVeyon will be the biggest benefactor of it.

WR Devonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles ($5,600)

Devonta was extremely quite last week while AJ Brown got the squeaky wheel treatment. I'm not suggesting that Devonta will get that treatment this week; rather, it's that the Cowboys have been most vulnerable through the air, and I expect that to be the plan of attack for the Eagles in this game. The Eagles were able to squeak by the Cowboys in week one without as much passing volume to either receiver, but I think that changes here, and Devonta may be the lower owned of the two.

TE Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals ($6,800)

I posted last week in the Basement Brewed Fantasy Football Discord server that Trey McBride might've been $1,000 too cheap, and I'd argue it's probably the same in this matchup. You're basically filling your tight end spot with a wide receiver in an excellent matchup where he'll be heavily targeted - probably more so than the other receivers in the same price range as him. There are some cheaper options at WR you can play to make this work - as I did last week - or play double TE lineups - as I also did last week - to jam McBride in. I'd highly recommend it.

Week 12 DraftKings DFS Fades

RB Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons ($8,500)

Bijan finally got red zone touches and, naturally, he converted them. That's the positive. But this offense is now full-time led by the corpse of Kirk Cousins, and Drake London is expected to sit for this game, too. The Saints defense isn't a worry in itself, but they'll be stacking the box against Bijan and making Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts beat them. Talent can still win out, and Bijan has the talent, but the vibes aren't right for this high of a cost while other high-upside players are right below him.

WR Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens ($6,300)

It's less about the player and more about the game environment. As 13 point favorites against a defense that lost their best run defender, I expect the Ravens to run early and often this weekend, limiting the opportunities for Zay to get involved. If the Jets somehow keep this competitive, then this probably comes back to haunt me, but I'm betting they won't.
